Working with YouTube and other videos
Tom Barrett seems to have found a gem called Tooble. It quickly and easily allows you to download YouTube videos and the like and then view them on your PC or on a mobile device. If this is what you do then this may be the tool for you.
How to Download YouTube Videos
In common with my friend Simon Mills, I seem to have spent a good deal of my time over the last year or so explaining to teachers how they can download and use videos from YouTube that are blocked by their institutions. Simon points to a blog post by Tony Karrer from Los Angeles who indicates a way of collecting the videos as MP4 files. You can read his post here.
