My Resource Cloud
Well worth keeping an eye on ….
My Resource Cloud is an interactive WEB2.0 education support site for educators and learners. The site consists of two main areas: My Events and My Resources. Both sections contain free (complimentary) and paid for (premium) resources. These resources can include blogs, downloadable resources, images, videos, news-feeds, templates, quizzes and educational games.
TESiboard interactive resources
TESiboard is a growing collection of highly visual, open-ended, interactive resources. The activities cover KS1 objectives, with KS2 resources currently in development.
You need to have a TES Connect login before you can get to the resources … this is a free login
SWGfL Resources
There are some great resources available on the SWGfL Merlin site that can be used even if you are not a subscriber. Special mentions from me go to ‘Word Detective‘ and ‘Word Wizard‘
New Science Resources

BBC Parents – support your child’s education
Noticed today on the BBC Parents site a search engine for educational games and resources. Could be useful to build home/school bridges.
Media Generator
ACMI – the Australian Centre for the Moving Image – has released, amongst other things, its ‘storyboard generator’.
Also worth a look at on the site are the resources in the ‘Free Media Library’. In the ‘Production Resources’ section there is a good description concerning Copyright and Ethics in creating digital resources.
More resources for the new term
Simon Widdowson rightly tweets about this excellent site – a great starter collection to bounce from … From Pearcedale Primary School in Australia
Teachr.co.uk
Teachr.co.uk could be ( as they say) … the perfect place to find the latest news, ideas and resources on a range of education sites.
Christmas activities from Northumberland NGfL
Liz from Northumberland draws my attention to this great collection of resources – Christmas Activities and Links.
There are also many, many useful and exciting resourse for other times of the year to be found on their NGfL site.
