TES resources re ‘Cyberbullying’

TES Connect, in recognition of the growing trend in cyberbullying has produced an excellent range of resources to support education in this important area.

Cyberbullying - practical advice for teachers
Behaviour adviser Tom Bennett provides some practical advice and solutions.

Primary Cyberbullying assembly
Introduces the issue of cyberbullying and encourages a class discussion.
Secondary Cyberbullying assembly
An assembly plan to raise awareness of the issues of cyberbullying.

Designed to get young people defining and understanding cyberbullying.
Sexting – what is it?
Presentation to show to pupils which includes a definition of Sexting, the legal issues and how to avoid problems.
Netiquette
Info about what netiquette means and how to observe it.

Cyberbullying factsheet from the ATL
Advice for teachers on how to deal with cyberbullying.
Miss, what’s your first name?
How to answer personal questions from pupils.
Politely refusing Facebook requests
How to do this without offending pupils.
